A straightforward prompt. Something, your choice, has been seen. It is partially hidden, so there may be some leeway as to whether you are sure what it is. It might be something you are looking for, something you thought you had lost, or something that you really don’t want to see.
It might be something that is a lot larger than what you can see. It could be the tip of a shoe, the leg of a spi… (no, I won’t say it, I know some of you are a little wary of our arachnid acquaintances.).
It can be a positive or negative piece of fiction. In fact, you could attempt both. There is nothing stopping you from writing two, or even more pieces starting with the prompt. How many situations can you create from just one prompt?
There are no rules, just write. Have fun and let your creative writing skills take the prompt and pour forth onto the page or screen.
